Example Life Balance card

Life Balance is Body Insights' questionnaire view of work and personal strain. The card shows an Overall Risk percentage and level. It also shows separate Work and Personal results, with guidance for each one.

A higher percentage means more reported strain. The detail sheet adds a gauge from Balanced to Strained. It also shows recent assessments and a 12-Week Progress chart.

What Life Balance shows

The page puts the main result beside the Work and Personal detail behind it.

  1. Overall Risk

What you seeA percentage and Low, Moderate, High, or Critical level

What it tells youThe combined strain reported across the completed questionnaire

  2. Work

What you seeA progress bar, category, and guidance

What it tells youHow much strain appeared in your Work answers

  3. Personal

What you seeA progress bar, category, and guidance

What it tells youHow much strain appeared in your Personal answers

  4. Gauge

What you seeBalanced, Some Strain, or High Strain between Balanced and Strained

What it tells youWhere the latest completed assessment sits on the strain scale

  5. Recent Assessments

What you seeThe date and Work and Personal categories for each saved result

What it tells youHow earlier assessments compare with the latest one

  6. 12-Week Progress

What you seeSeparate Work and Personal lines with a point change

What it tells youWhether either side has moved across completed assessments

Example: Work strain rises

Your Work result may rise while Personal stays flat. The overall percentage can rise too. The two rows show that Work drove more of the change.

Open 12-Week Progress after your next assessment. If the Work line rises again, use the Work guidance to choose one part of the week to change.

How to use your weekly result

Use the result in this order:

  1. Read the Overall Risk level and percentage for the quick answer.
  2. Compare Work with Personal to find which side is carrying more strain.
  3. Read the category guidance, then check 12-Week Progress before you change your plan.

Take one new assessment every seven days. Compare similar weeks when you can. A change after a demanding week means something different from a change after a quiet one.

How the assessment works

  1. Answer eight yes-or-no questions about Work.
  2. Answer eight yes-or-no questions about Personal life.
  3. Complete all 16 answers before you save the assessment.
  4. Body Insights scores Work and Personal on their own. It then builds the Overall Risk view and category guidance.
  5. The saved result appears in Recent Assessments and the 12-Week Progress chart.

After you save an assessment, the app shows when the next one is available. You can complete a new assessment once every seven days.

Before your first completed assessment, the card shows Assess and --%. Tap Fill Assessment to start. The chart shows No data yet until it has a saved result.

Life Balance and Burnout Risk

The two results use different data and answer different questions.

  1. Source

Life BalanceYour completed Work and Personal questionnaire answers

Burnout RiskHRV, resting heart rate, sleep, and waking recovery patterns

  2. Time view

Life BalanceYour latest assessment and 12-week questionnaire history

Burnout RiskLonger physiological trends, including 28-day history

  3. Output

Life BalanceOverall Risk, Work, Personal, category guidance, and assessment history

Burnout RiskBurnout Risk Index, status, and physiological trend detail

  4. Use

Life BalanceSee where reported work or personal strain is building

Burnout RiskSee whether longer-term physiological strain is building

A high Life Balance result means your answers reported more strain. A high Burnout Risk result points to more strain in your longer body pattern. The results can move in different ways because they use different data.
